Joe - 34-15
Austin - 32-17
Pat - 32-17
Fender - 27-22
Brendan - 26-23
These records are bad. Well either we are a bunch of idiots or it has been the most unpredictable college football season of all time. I'm leaning towards the latter. This has certainly been a gruelling season with one contestant already quitting because he couldn't take the heat. Curly knew Brendan was a quitter when he found out that Brendan wasn't going to make the trip with the rest of the freshman football team to Wayne County after Emory fell on his foot in practice. It is looking like a three horse race for first place with Joe holding a slight lead over myself and Austin tied for second. Maybe the most interesting match up is the race for last place between Fender and Gillens. This isn't the first time these two have squared off but we won't get into that. The most intriguing aspect of the race for last is that Brendan missed last week picks entirely and he is somehow only one game away from tying him. Gillens, if you can pass Fender after that setback, I think there should be some sort of a prize. Good luck the rest of the season. Also, I will no longer be putting BC picks up now that it is subregion time and I can't in good conscience pick against BC.

pat......emory broke my foot..and i have never quit anything...and i am an honorable man for still ownig up to my weakness and still putting ten dollars in the pin...dont disrespect me....love you
i think we should still have the bc games on their. you didn't have any trouble picking against them before, so why should now be any different? i would also like to point out that gillins and i are the only two not to pick against bc. if it really bothered you that much then you wouldn't have picked against them before which would give the top three 2 less wins and 2 more losses and putting gillins and i back in the race.
I already told you why I don't want to put BC on the picks: The real subregion schedule has just begun.
and because you can't in good conscience pick against BC. i couldn't pick against BC either and i have yet to, but you still put the BC games on there. so i think you should either keep putting them up there or give me a gillins 2 more wins and 2 less losses each since we chose not to pick against BC.
No thanks.
i still don't understand the difference between picking against BC playing a region game and picking against BC playing a subregion game. sunregion or not it shouln't matter, if you could pick jenkins over BC i don't see why you would have any problem picking any other team over BC.
You are stupid. I'm not sure if you are trying to imply that Jenknis was a region game for BC. Jenkins is in Region 3 like BC but they are in class AAAAA and we are in AAA. I feel stupid having to spell that out or you, but if you din't know that, then there it is.
If you did know that little tid bit and were asking why picking against BC when they played Jenkins was diferent that any other game, then maybe I will have to explain that to you too. Here goes: The first three games of the season are "non-region games." When considering playoffs chances and championship races (the things you play for), those first three games mean nothing.
When determining wether or not a team goes to the playoffs or wins the subregion championship, the subregion games are the only games that count (unless there is a tie in which case you refer back to the two crossover games you play in games four and five). That is the region I choose not to put BC picks up.
sp. reason
i understand the whole region thing idiot. what i still don't understand is why you don't want to pick the region games? if it is because you don't want to pick against BC, then why put the nonregion games on there? picking against BC is picking against BC and region or not it shouldn't matter.
I say keep having bc game picks. its a way to get some actual movement in the rankings.. if you are playing to win, you will pick the team that you truly think will win (we will all understand we are going for bc thats not the point) AND sometimes if you go with the loyal pick over your real gut pick it can sometimes surprise you and get you a W. besides, the picks for h.s. this week are weak.
-on a side note, it sounds like a nail-biter in savannah with bc and se going back and forth. wish i was there
You just made Fender's week.
nice post austin....yea fender just came all in his pants
finally someone agrees with me that the BC games should be put up. i understand that no one wants BC to lose and that no one is pulling against them. i listened to the game last night and sounded like a good game and pat and original brendan can fuck off.
Watch your language, this isn't Alabama.
hahaha
its Alabama where I am(Tuscaloosa is in the state of Alabama) i know its not Alabama where you are because yall can only celebrate having 2 national championships, but we on the other hand can celebrate 12.
Take it to Mayfair
Wait, Tuscaloosa is in Alabama?
it sure is
Answer this qusetion honestly: Did you think I was serious when I asked that question?
